About The Author

Canadian author and poet Don MacIver writes poetic verse, prose and articles about his experiences, his visions, his desires, his aspirations…and life’s observations.

The author’s first book “Journeys In Verse” is a compilation of a diverse range of poetic themes ranging from romance, nature and the environment, friendship, birth and death, addiction, war and much more. His second book “A Touch Of Rose” is as yet a work in progress that should be released later this year, strongly influenced by and dedicated to his life partner Andrea.

Don and his wife reside on an island off the west coast of Canada in the Pacific Northwest where the beauty of surrounding geography, the serenity of this blessed place, the inspiration it brings are the cornerstone of his works.
